about therapy
People come to therapy for many different reasons, with different hopes for what might change. Whatever your motivation for seeking help, I offer a compassionate, confidential space where together we will gently explore what is troubling you - the thoughts, feelings and patterns that often sit beneath our awareness, shaping how we experience ourselves and our relationships.
Together, we work towards a deeper understanding of yourself: more equipped to face life’s challenges, and with real relief from what has been weighing on you.

I work with clients facing anxiety and depression, overwhelming thoughts and feelings, relationship difficulties, the impact of trauma, questions of identity and belonging, and the search for a sense of meaning and purpose. With greater insight and awareness, we find ways to heal psychological and emotional distress.

Psychotherapeutic counsellor
about me
I trained as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor after an earlier career as a writer and editor across Europe and Asia. That path, living and working across cultures, building a life and family in a country not my own, gave me a close, lived understanding of what it takes to adapt, to build new relationships, and to hold onto a sense of identity and belonging through change.
I have worked with international charities, and more recently with refugees and asylum seekers which has deepened my understanding of how trauma and abuse are held in the body and mind, and how they can be worked with sensitively. For the past three years I have worked with Counselling for Social Change in the UK seeing clients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds and presenting issues, work I continue alongside my private practice.
I hold a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am soon to complete a Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute, London. I work with clients online across the UK and internationally, as well as in-person near Toulouse, France.
how I work
I am an integrative therapist which means that I draw on a range of different approaches - humanistic, relational psychodynamic and mindfulness-based - tailored to what you need, rather than fitting you to a single method. At the centre of all of it is the relationship between us: research consistently shows this is what makes therapy work, more than any single technique.
I offer a free 30-minute introductory call (online or by telephone) which is a chance to talk about what brings you to therapy and whether we are a good fit.
Sessions are 50 minutes, available short or long-term depending on your needs. Each session last 50 minutes. The cost is 50€ per session.

Saturday mornings at: Maison de Santé, Place Pétricou, 09130 Le Fossat, (kinésithérapie entrance).

Walking and talking therapy - for clients who find it easier to think and talk while moving, I also offer walking sessions at two locations: Lac de Montbel and Lac du Carla-Bayle. This can be a helpful option for those who find sitting face-to-face activating, or who simply find walking alongside someone supports openness in a different way.
Online sessions - via secure video link sent 24 hours ahead of each session.

professional membership
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and a trainee member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), currently completing my Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. I abide by both organisations' codes of ethics and professional conduct, hold full professional liability insurance, and engage in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
